By Subway:

Take the G train to the Grand Street / Metropolitan Avenue stop.

Take the L train to the Lorimer Street / Metropolitan Avenue stop.

Exit station and walk towards and under the highway overpass on Metropolitan Avenue. Keep straight for a few blocks. The Knitting Factory is on the right-hand side of the street at Metropolitan and Havemeyer.
