Congratulations to our 2018 Soundtrack Competition winners

This is the 5th year of our Soundtrack Competition and as in past years, picking the top winners from the many excellent submissions we received was a difficult task.

WINNER

Nancy Stafford has been composing music for piano and keyboard since the age of fifteen. For over thirty-five years people have enjoyed listening to Nancy’s music. Since college she has written music for plays and showcases. In 1995 she was video recorded by Marin Channel 31.

Nancy has won a number of other awards and nominations from different festivals. Nancy has four albums out on the internet and internet radio stations and plans to do a fifth album for 2020.

Nancy works full time at Guide Dogs for the Blind located in San Rafael, CA. She has been working there for over 33 years. Her music is performed for the student graduations. She also plays for special events at her workplace. Nancy enjoys writing and performing her music.

HONORABLE MENTION

The Atomik Age Project originated in Brooklyn, New York, and has been making music since the 1960’s.

All songs are written and produced by band member and lead guitarist Philip Curcuru. The other band members are: James Ceribello, lead vocals; Lou Di Natale, keyboards; Roger Fiorentino, bass; Christina Dempsey, vocals. Musical contributors are: Stu Seiderman, sax; Bob Aniano, guitar; Eddie Valvo, keyboards; Dan Giangiobbi, vocals and the late Joe Curcuru, drums, until his passing in 2009.
